FUNCTIONS

 

Key Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP:
Develop and implement innovative strategies to position ESPRONCEDA and as leading cultural and digital arts hubs both nationally and internationally.
Drive the vision and mission of the organization by identifying opportunities for growth, partnerships, and new projects aligned with our goals.
Serve as one of the main points of contact with cultural institutions, universities, research centers, and administrative bodies such as Generalitat de Catalunya, ICUB, Institut Ramon Llull, and the Ministry of Culture. ( among others )
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Lead the development and execution of potential European and international projects, from ideation to successful implementation, including but not limited to EU Creative Europe, STARTS, and Horizon Europe projects.
Oversee the management of potential national and international projects.
Coordinate and organize events such as residencies, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops to enhance the visibility and impact of ESPRONCEDA.
PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT:
Establish and maintain high-level international relations within the contemporary art and innovation ecosystems, including cultural clusters and networks.
Develop strategic alliances with key stakeholders, such as universities, research centers, galleries, and cultural institutions, to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of our projects.
FUNDRAISING AND GRANT WRITING
Identify, write, and manage grant applications for national and European funding opportunities.
Monitor the landscape of available funding opportunities and proactively seek new sources of financial support.
INNOVATION AND DIGITAL ART PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
Continue developing and leading the current programs in ESPRONCEDA, focusing on immersive, interactive, and collaborative digital art projects that have garnered international recognition.

  • Durada de contracte: 6 nitial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time.
  • Núm. Hores setmanals: 20h Part-time employment, with potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs.
  • Horari: Approximately 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility around event schedules and project deadlines. weekdays (Monday to Friday). 
  • Retribució brut anual: Competitive part-time salary based on experience and qualifications, ranging from 9.000€  to 12.500€
  • Start day: January 2025

Requisits

  • STUDIES
  • A Bachelor's degree in Arts Management, Cultural Studies, Art History, Digital Media, Innovation Management, or a related field is required.
    A Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline is highly preferred, especially in areas like Digital Art, Cultural Management, Innovation, or Creative Industries.

    Courses or certifications in digital marketing, grant writing, or fundraising can be beneficial.
    Additional coursework or training in emerging technologies (such as VR/AR, blockchain, NFTs) related to the cultural sector is a plus.
    EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum of 6 years of experience in cultural project management, with a strong focus on European and national projects and grant management.                              Demonstrable track record of successfully developing, managing, and implementing multi-stakeholder cultural and digital innovation projects.                    Proven experience in establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with cultural institutions, universities, galleries, tech companies, and funding bodies.

  • LANGUAGES: Fluency in English, Spanish, and Catalan is required. Additional languages, particularly other major European languages, are a plus.

    Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, Slack, Asana) or other project managment tools.
    Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) and budget management tools.
    Digital Art and Innovation Platforms:

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software (Blender), and VR/AR platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine).
Grant Management Tools:
Skills in using databases and tools for grant writing and management (e.g., Salesforce, CRM systems).
Emerging Technologies:
Awareness of NFTs, blockchain, and other digital trends relevant to the art sector.
Content Management Systems:
Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress for website content management.

SKILS:
Excellent project management skills, including strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Strong grant writing and fundraising abilities with a proven history of securing substantial funding from both European and national sources.
Exceptional networking and communication skills, with the capacity to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to operate effectively in both the traditional cultural sector and the digital innovation space.
KNOWLEGE AND EXPERTISE:
In-depth understanding of the European and national cultural landscape, including knowledge of funding mechanisms, key cultural stakeholders, and emerging trends in digital arts and innovation.
Familiarity with digital innovation trends, such as NFTs, the metaverse, augmented and virtual reality, and blockchain technology in the cultural sector.
NETWORKS AND CONTACTS: A well-established network of contacts in the European and national cultural sectors is highly appreciated. This includes connections with key players such as cultural institutions, museums, contemporary art galleries, cultural policymakers, funding bodies, tech companies, and innovation hubs.

ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT IN RELEVANT NETWORKS:  Evidence of active participation in major cultural and digital art networks (such as New European Bauhaus, EIT Culture & Creativity, and other national and international cultural networks).
