We are looking for a curious, flexible, and proactive professional to work at the intersection of sustainable materials, design, and product development. The role involves scouting new materials, testing and analyzing their behavior, assessing feasibility for architectural products, coordinating performance and environmental certifications, and collaborating on the design and industrialization of new product lines.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and analyze sustainable materials (R+D Waste-based Materials, circular, recycled, bio-based).
Evaluate properties and feasibility for architectural applications.
Coordinate technical tests and environmental certifications.
Collaborate with suppliers, labs, and manufacturers on transformation processes.
Participate in product design and prototyping, documenting tests and decisions.
Support R&D roadmap and technical reporting (NEOTEC project).
Profile & Requirements
Education: Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields.
Skills: Strong interest in sustainable materials, analytical and creative mindset, organizational and documentation skills, autonomy, and initiative.
Languages: English, Spanish, Catalan.
Software: Google Workspace, SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Must: Driving license and occasional travel availability.
